Dan has played with The Kildale Quartet since the start, sharing the roles of 1st and 2nd violin with Peter. Dan lives in Darlington and is Head of Music at a secondary school in Middlesbrough.
Dan plays with a number of orchestras and other musical groups in the Teesside area, including the Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, which he leads. He also plays folk fiddle around the Northeast, especially in the folk rock band, Steamradio.
